Warranty & Maintenance, ReadyCover Service Plans
1. Initial Hardware Warranty.
All ReadyLinks hardware products come with a 90 day initial warranty from date of shipment.
2. Extended Hardware Warranty.
ReadyLinks customers have the option to purchase an extended hardware warranty to cover any out-of-warranty hardware products for up to two additional years after the expiration of the initial warranty period. Customers must provide written notice to ReadyLinks before the expiration of the initial warranty period. The extended hardware warranty fee is 3% of the product list price per year.
The extended warranty begins on the date the initial warranty period or previously extended warranty period ends.
3. Out-of-Warranty Hardware Maintenance.
ReadyLinks will use commercially reasonable efforts to provide out-of-warranty hardware maintenance for three years after the expiration of the initial warranty period. A repair fee will apply based on reasonable labor and material charges associated with the repair.
4. Advanced Hardware Replacement.
This add-on service provides next-business-day advance replacement, excluding holidays, for defective hardware within the continental United States, provided the customer complies with ReadyLinks Return Material Authorization (RMA) process. Product must be in warranty to subscribe to advance replacement. The advance replacement fee is 2% of the product list price per year.
A return label and bill will be included with the advance replacement shipment. The defective product should be returned in the same box within 30 days.
5. Out-of-Warranty Hardware Maintenance.
ReadyLinks will use commercially reasonable efforts to provide out-of-warranty hardware maintenance for three years after the expiration of the initial warranty period. A repair fee will apply based on reasonable labor and material charges associated with the repair.
6. Return Material Authorization (RMA) Process.
Should a ReadyLinks product require service, the customer should promptly return the product in accordance with ReadyLinks Return Material Authorization (RMA) process. Contact ReadyLinks Customer Support for more details.
7. Initial Software Warranty.
Pre-installed software from ReadyLinks is under warranty for the first ninety (90) days from date of shipment.
8. Support and Software Maintenance.
Support and software updates covering maintenance releases, are included as part of the original purchase price for the first year from date of shipment. Extended software warranty maintenance including new features can be purchased each additional year. The extended software warranty fee is 5% of the product list price per year.
9. ReadyCover Service Plans.
As a benefit to customers ReadyLinks offers a series of bundled service plans that combine hardware, software and service support under a series
ReadyCover Service Plans
(Bronze, Silver or Gold). The service plans are designed to allow a customer to choice the most appropriate coverage within their budget and needs. The following table outlines the different plans and associated fees for coverage.
